Title: Part-Time Student-Foundry Process Engineering-Waterloo IA - 70909
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.
Your Responsibilities
Person will be responsible for supporting Sand Lab testing as well as Green Sand and Core Sand process verifications.
This will include procedure creation/verification, Inventory management, sand lab training, and on floor process verifications.
This may include writing test procedures and working with other engineering disciplines to provide data and other requests based off testing.
Additionally, this person may be asked to utilize engineering tools to analyze test and process data
What It Takes
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology with emphasis on metal castings; others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc)
If currently attending a community college must plan to pursue a 4-year degree
Graduation date of December 2022 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
16-20 hours/week during the academic year
35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
