Function: Manufacturing Engineering

Title: Part-Time Student-Manufacturing Engineering-Waterloo IA - 75045

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

Your Responsibilities

  • Willing to perform multiple tasks

  • Maintain and evolve existing tools and processes.

  • Assists team in identifying issues and proposing resolutions.

  • Gather, review, and analyze information.

  • Supports multiple departments in their daily functions.

  • Produces a variety of correspondence and reports in support of department processes.

  • Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices; learns company products.

What Skills You Need

  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in engineering, technology, mathematics, computer programming, or a related field ; others may apply

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited local university

  • Graduation date of 2022 or later

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Available to work year-round

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis or as needed

What Makes You Stand Out

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Knowledge of 3D modeling and/or familiarity with computer aided design (CAD)

  • Knowledge of 3D printing (Additive Manufacturing or AM)

  • Knowledge of material used in the fabrication of tooling
