Function: Manufacturing Engineering
Title: Part-Time Student - Manufacturing Engineering - Waterloo, IA - 56805
Reviewing and documenting all perishable tooling associated with production gear cutting.
Managing perishable tooling data from factory floor and entering this data into TDM database.
Creation of Auto Cad drawings of perishable tooling.
What It Takes
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and dependability.
Basic understanding of metal mechanical properties.
Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or computer/information science area of study preferred.
Must be a full-time student at a local university or college (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc.)
If currently attending a community college, must be planning to pursue a 4-year degree
Must be available to work a minimum of 12 months
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
Graduation date of December 2020 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester
A strong candidate will also have
Experience with operation of computerized machinery.
Interest and Aptitude for Technology.
