Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa (US-IA) - Waterloo

Function: Product Engineering

Title: Part-Time Student - Product Engineering Electronics - Waterloo, IA - 60494

Your Responsibilities

  • Electronic hardware component testing, troubleshooting, and problem analysis -primarily sensors

  • Documenting corrective action progress

  • Plotting warranty data for engine control unit, engine control software, and sensors

  • Logging, testing and processing warranty sensor for return to suppliers.

What it Takes

  • Electronic hardware testing experience or related coursework

  • Lab test equipment - oscilloscope, DMM, power supply, etc.

  • Skilled in use of MS Excel

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Graduation date of May 2021 - Requirement of the program is you are available to work a minimum of 12 months prior to graduation.

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A Strong Candidate Will Also Have

  • Experience in Matlab/Simulink

  • Experience in software coding

  • Software development experience or related coursework
