Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa (US-IA) - Waterloo

Function: Product Engineering

Title: Part Time Student - Product Engineering - Waterloo, IA - 62442

Your Responsibilities

  • Updating communications channels, managing small-to-medium scaled projects independently.

  • Managing delivery flow of parts through project improvement and material management

  • Inventory review and audits as needed

  • Resolve material and delivery issues with cross-departments as needed

  • Power BI scorecard manager and metrics creation

  • Familiarity to create/write and process external shipping orders to ensure inventory is on-time and accounted for experimental builds

  • Understanding of SAP systems and the various transactions required to move parts systematically in SAP so that inventories reflect accurately

  • Understand how to navigate and prioritize inventory problems and the ability to seek out win/win solutions for all parties

  • Working and assisting closely to parts procurement teams

  • Assisting in event planning for occasional celebrations and training coordination

  • Will assist in managing SharePoint Site administration (content permissions, and various data coordination), PowerPoint development, Excel Spreadsheet administration, and Outlook meeting coordination as needed.

  • Various administrative support for the Product Engineering Center as needed.

What It Takes

  • Strong communication skills including clear and effective writing abilities are required.

  • Proficiency (or ability to train for proficiency) with SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint preferred.

  • Pursuance of a 4-year degree in Business, Marketing/Communications, Management, or Engineering/Technical areas are preferred. Others may be considered based on supplemental work/educational experiences, etc.

  • Must be a full-time student at a local university or college (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc.)

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • If currently attending a community college, must be planning to pursue a 4-year degree

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 12 months.

A Strong Candidate Will Also Have

  • Proficiency (or ability to train for proficiency) with SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint preferred.

  • Experience in delivering presentations, SharePointsite administration (content, permissions management),

  • PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and outlook proficiency will be valued.

  • Experience in administrative support, updating communications via various channels, managing small-to-medium scaled projects independently, assisting in event planning and/or training coordination will also be valued.
