Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa (US-IA) - Waterloo

Function: Quality Engineering

Title: Part-Time Student - Quality Engineering - Waterloo, IA - 55295

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare standard report summaries for Component Quality Operations.

  • Make corrections to Statistical Process Control (SPC) projects correlating with job instructions.

  • Prepare data summaries from SPC system.

  • Conduct review meetings for data integrity.

  • Assist with data entry into spreadsheets and programs for engineering evaluation.

  • Prepare ESO's and purchase requisitions

What It Takes

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Package - emphasis on Excel

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Understanding of SharePoint for Intranet Site Development

  • Must be a full-time student at a local university or college (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc.)

  • If currently attend a community college, must be planning to pursue a 4-year degree

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 12 months

  • Preferable to have student working toward a manufacturing degree. Business degree is also acceptable. IS degree is acceptable.

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Graduation date of December 2020 or later

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8/or above

  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

  • Preferable to have business or manufacturing background
