Title: Schedule Planner - 74181
As a Materials Specialist for Drivetrain Components located in Waterloo, Iowa, you will f acilitate the flow of material through a complex manufacturing supply chain to support on-time delivery to assembly, service, and inter-factory customers.
What Skills You Need
Effective communicator who thrives in a team environment.
Experience that demonstrates effective multi-tasking, prioritization skills, and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
One or more years of experience utilizing SAP-PP (Production Planning) parameters and transactions with the demonstrated result of achieving desired delivery metrics.
Demonstrated ability to schedule in a cross-functional shop-floor team environment under compressed manufacturing lead time conditions.
One or more years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience that demonstrates a basic understanding of change control concepts.
What Makes You Stand Out
Working or collaboration experiences with Drive Train Components shop floor scheduling.
At least one year of working experience using SAP-PP (Production Planning) transactions in a divergent flow or job shop environment.
Experience with Legacy material planning systems used at John Deere – (CWIS – Common Worldwide Inter-factory System) for service parts fulfillment and Material Requirements Planning.
Understanding of Bill of Material (BOM)
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in a Business/Supply Chain related discipline or a minimum of one year of experience in supply chain management or industrial manufacturing operational role.
