Function: Administrative / Clerical
Title: Senior Administrative Assistant - 55720
As a Senior Administrative Assistant at John Deere’s Product Engineering Center (PEC) in Waterloo, Iowa, you will perform a full range of administrative support duties of a confidential and challenging nature within Global Tractor Engineering including, but not limited to:
Planning and organizing the calendar for the Global Director, Tractor Platform Engineering.
Facilitating work flow through PEC Operations, handling administrative requests and assignments from and between other managers of the Global Tractor Engineering staff
Leading arrangements for travel including VISA and passport management
Serving as a central point of contact for general communications for the PEC operations
Coordinating with Deere and Company Administrative Assistants to arrange global meetings
Planning special events such as meetings, dinners, tours, etc
Collecting quarterly metrics, maintaining historical records and assisting in publishing reports
Preparing presentations for leadership and employee information meetings
Managing PEC service awards and retirement planning activities
Overseeing ownership and permissions for administrative groups, server locations and SharePoint sites
Numerous miscellaneous tasks related to daily operations

What Skills You Need
Two or more years’ administrative assistant work experience
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work/network with many different people globally
Proven collaborative and people skills

SharePoint site development and administration
Meeting/group facilitation skills
Experience managing highly confidential material
Background in communications and proofreading
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
